new bed

So, we moved Layla into a bed a couple of days ago. Crazy! Not only that, but we also moved her into Carters room. He had been getting scarred at night, in the dark, upstairs, all alone. Armed only with his flash light, and superman pajamas, he felt the need to slip into our room, night after scary night. That was a problem for us, in our own grown up kind of way.... you know what I mean. So that is the insanity that lead us to the current circumstances. The good part for Carter is that he has not been frightened at night, and for Layla it is that she can get out of bed all by herself....over....and over....and over again!
Last night we put the kids to bed, and waited. To our surprise no one came back out. When we were headed to bed ourselves we poked our heads in to check on them, and this is what we saw. Layla had rolled out of bed, and was laying with her head under her bed. HAHAHAHA. We just thought that was hilarious, and had to share the picture.
No matter how many times I have to put my kids back in their beds, I sure do love them. just when I think I'm ready to give them to the highest bidder they do something so funny, or sweet, or both.

Swimming

Carter is learning how to swim, and he really really loves it.
TThis is just another wedding picture, and I thought it was really good of everyone. These are Craigs brothers and sisters, all but Becky.

MARCHing on....Thank goodness.

Can I just say, March is over, HOORAY! That really sounds awful, I know. Honestly though, March was a "I think I might pull my hair out" kind of crazy month. Good to see it come, and better to see it go.
I had a booth at the spring fair last weekend, and it went so good. Nickole (my first employee) and I set some goals for the fair, and we reached them. Yay for us. Now FI gets to treat us and our husbands to dinner at Red Lobster and a movie, which I'm really looking forward to.
I am taking this "spring cleaning challenge" that starts tomorrow, and I'm really excited about it. There is a new cleaning/organizing challenge every day, and at the end there will be a prize, and a girls night out for everyone that participates. leave me a comment if you want to join the fun. I'm planning on posting some cleaning/organizing tips on here. So, you will have to toon in for more with that.

Carter sings...

..Three homes in Alabama...Where the clouds are so blue. (you know...Sweet home Alabama)

dress ups

Layla sure looks like she is having a blast doesn't she? Haha, the funny thing is that she was the one that wanted to dress up. She kept handing the other princess skirt to Carter, and trying to get him to dress up with her. He finally gave in, and I think he even started to have fun with it. Yikes.

Carters Birthday Partayyyy

Carter is 4. He Got to have his first friends party this year, and he wanted a dino party. So that is what he had.
Carter, you make me so happy! I love it when you tell me that you love me...more. Also, I love, love, love it when you tell me that I am your best friend, and that we'll be best friends forever. You are such a good brother, and teach Layla so many important things, like how to pray. Thank you for scratching my back when I don't feel good, and for always wanted to play games with me. I love you...more. love, Mom
