Carter saw me take all those pictures of Layla, so he felt like he should have a turn to take some pics of his own. They mostly came out with fingers, or really blurry. He did get some good ones of me and his cousin Kaiden...and one himself. I guess me and Kaiden wern't being good enuph models for him. haha

Layla & bear photo shoot

The other day (actually the day Craig got his new calling)I put Laylas new dress on her, and her teddy bear. They looked so cute together that I HAD to have an on the spot photo shoot. We just went out to our back yard, and it was so much fun. She was so excited about her matching dress with her bear, that she just kept giving me the cutest poses ever. I am going to blow up one of these pictures to hang in her room, but I need help picking. Will you do me a favor and tell me which one is your Fav? I'm counting on you friends, because I can NOT make the decision myself, you all know that. Thanks for your opinions.

Family Time...so fun.

There is this awesome place in Raft River Idaho called Stedman Ranch. It is a family named the Stedmans home, and they let people/groups come play on their toys. They have two HUGE water slides, one is 700 feet long, and the other is 500 feet long. They have all the tubes and boards to go down the slide with. There is a fire pit, restrooms, a beautiful water fall, grass to set tents up on, underground trampoline, Frisbees, balls, and a candy cannon. They fill it with candy and shoot it way up in the air, then the kids get to run around and pick it all up. The kids loved it. There is also a 500 foot zip line...such a rush. The only thing is that you have to reserve your time like a year in advance, but it is so worth the wait. I highly recommend going.

My sister Judy is amazing, she put together this super fun little camp for the Romriell cousins. She had a theme, thoughts, presentations, games, treats, and even shirts that said "cr09" (camp romriel 2009). So cute. The kids had soooo much fun with each other, and I just know they will remember this for a long long time. thanks Judy, I love your stinkin guts!
Carter thought it was really funny to pose like he was about to through a punch. Who knows.

Hall SHOCKER of the year!

For those of you that know Craig, you know that he is pretty layed back, easy going, and likable. Craig likes all kinds of music, including punk (he is trying to talk me into going to Vans Warp tour). He likes to dress casual, in baggy jeans, skate shoes, and a T shirt usually, and often has a little gruff on his face.
Funny story really. Sunday morning neither of us had any meetings (unusual for us), so we were just being lazy, hanging out in our pj's (mormon code for G's). At about 10:00 our stake presidents office called so see if we could meet with President Corey. I said sure and asked what time, they said he was on his way over to our house. Oh...wow. We all got dressed really fast, and soon heard a knock at the door. Just have to say, I love President Corey, he is an amazing man! Anyway, after some chit chat he says "well, you probably know I came hear for a reason. It's time for a change in your bishopric!" Yes you hear right....BISHOPRIC! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. Craig is the new first counselor in our bishopric. LOL! Now to finish my previously mentioned description of my husband. He may come across as a guy that is layed back, and really doesn't care about much, but inside he is the most sensitive, loving, honest, hard working, humble man I know. He is a spiritual giant among men, and he has a deep impact on those around him. He always has profound insight on different situations. I am so lucky to have him as my husband, and the Father of my children.
After the Stake President left, we went to the church to meet with the Bishop (knowing what he wanted to talk about...kind of). We had a great meeting with him, and he had some amazing things to say about Craig. Half an hour later church started, and they sustained Craig in sacrament. Craig's Dad got to ordain him as a high priest, and that night Craig had his first disciplinary counsel, so he had a dive right in to the job. That was our Sunday in a nut shell.
The moral of the story is...don't miss your ward for 5 weeks in a row, or you might be next!

p.s. he did miss our ward for good reasons, just for the record. :)
