4th of July

Blake, Carter, and "big Jackson". We had a really fun pool party in boise at some friends house, and the "Wilcow" kids played with carter and layla the whole time. It was great.
Layla loved playing this kazoo. it was a hoot. She was so proud of herself, and wouldn't let that thing go.
Carter played his pipe thing in the parade. He was really funny, because he took it so seriously

Chichen Itza
us at the entrance to the underground cave
the unerground cave, those are tree roots that grew 40 ft. through the air to get water. We swam in here.
Craig kept picking the banana, and was on the lookout for a good coconut the entire time we were there.
The beach was so pretty
our resort had tons of these statues, so we took a picture with each one

curley Q

The other day I thought it would be fun to put curlers in Laylas hair, and she actually let me. It was funny though when we took them out, Carter looked at her and said "mom, that is not Layla!", with a confused look on his face. He prefers her without curly hair, and I have to admit, it's lots easyer that way.

Carter put this net on the other day with his sun glasses and wanted me to take his picure.

Layla turned one

I made her this cute little flower cake. I was pretty proud of myself.

We had a really fun Easter party, the kids loved the Easter egg hunt. I guess we have been really good because the Easter bunny came to see us, and left the kids Easter baskets. Craigs sister Jenny and her two boys, Jaxon and Lucas, came to visit for 2 1/2 weeks. Jaxon is Carters best little friend, so they had a BLAST together. We went on a picnic, and a party, played lots of games, and the moms got some good girl time in together. I am going to be sad to see them go home tomorrow, but probably not as sad as Carter. Poor kid.

Hi blog buddies. Things have been crazy busy in my neck of the woods, but honestly I don't think I would want it any other way. I guess I just have this need to feel like I'm being productive, or as Thomas the train would say "a really usefull engine".
Man has the Presidential election been exciting this year or what? However,I was absolutly heart broken and deflated when my man Mit dropped out, and now I just don't know what to do with my self. Sometimes I wish I had an angel on one sholder and a devil on the other telling me what to do, like on the cartoons. That would make everything so easy, because then I would know just to do what the angel said. In this case I fear that there would be a devil on both sholders, because I really don't care for any of the choices which remain. Oh well, what do ya do?
I was on nbc and fox news a couple of times this week, and that was kind of crazy. Good for business I must say. It's just wierd to hear people on the news saying your name and talking about you. Well have a great week. Susan
