Things I've learned as a Mother

Basically, there are certain things in life you learn as a Mother, and only as a Mother. The reason for this is simple, and totally makes sense...in my mind anyway. Non Mothers are better off not knowing. That way, they don't have to worry about it.
For example, I learned something new today...stickers can get stuck up your nose if you push them far enough! Who would have thought!?! Or better yet...who would have tried (aside from my son, of course)?
I also know some useful things, like on our way to the library it's more fun to take the mall parking lot "shortcut" then to stay on the main road...more corners & bumps.
Bubble wrap makes good dress ups, and hours of entertainment.
Cheese is as good as new after you cut off the mold, bread is not!
To a four year old, licking your hands and washing them are one and the same.
What are some valuable lessons you have learned from your Chickie's?

I know what you mean. Lydia learned today that it's not a good idea to drive Will's trains in her hair and when she turns them on they get stuck really fast and then they have to be removed with scissors!

Isn't it funny how quickly you learn? And the best part is...each mother has such individual learning experiences. I'm trying to think of the myriad of things I have learned as a mother, but its too late. My mind isn't working right.

Emma, I laughed out loud when I read your comment. These little critters are sooooo funny!

What have I learned? Hmmmm let's see. Boogers on a wall stick better than super glue. Most of the laundry in their basket is clean not dirty. Although I am trying to find peace...little fingers and notes under the bathroom door are cute. So many more! I should write them down as I think of them.

This isn't really a trick, but at our Costco we have to take the long way out so we can drive up the big hill. My kids scream at me the whole way home if I'm in a hurry and go out the quick way.
